Naughty Dog Already Working on their Next Game

While fans wait for any new information surrounding The Last of Us: Part 3, Neil Druckmann of Naughty Dog revealed in a recent interview with Kinda Funny that the studio is already working on their next project.

Druckmann did not reveal any details about the game, but he did say that they have already made the necessary considerations and have decided on what excites them the most.

A lot more

Before that game comes out, however, Naughty Dog is focused on their multiplayer game based on The Last of Us, which they've been teasing for a while now.

Druckmann promises that "a lot more" will be said about it later this year. Interestingly, this is the first The Last of Us game in which Druckmann will not be the primary writer or director, and he is looking forward to producing and mentoring the team.

Multiple teams

With multiple teams, Naughty Dog is now able to develop more games at once, which is good news for fans who can't get enough of their unique storytelling and gameplay. While some fans are hoping for The Last of Us: Part 3, others believe that it will not happen anytime soon (especially considering the Last Of Us multiplayer game that’s coming) and that the new game will be a completely new IP, such as a long-rumored sci-fi game.

Whatever the game is, Naughty Dog has a reputation for creating high-quality, cinematic experiences that push the boundaries of gaming storytelling. So, while we don't know what their next project will be, we can bet it will be something special.
