Microsoft and Bethesda Announce Release Date for Starfield Along with Special “starfield Direct” Event

Microsoft and Bethesda have announced that Starfield, the highly anticipated space RPG from Bethesda Game Studios, will be released on September 6.

The companies also announced that "Starfield Direct" will air on June 11 and will provide more information about the game.

Release

Last year, the companies stated that Starfield would have a release date in the first half of 2023, but it appears that the game requires more development time and is not as close to release as developers and fans had hoped.

Starfield Direct

The Starfield Direct will give fans a closer look at the game, which will be available on Xbox Series X and S, PC, and have a day 1 Game Pass release. Players in Starfield join Constellation, an organization that explores space on humanity's "last journey" hundreds of years in the future.

The video

While the new video does not really feature any new exciting gameplay, fans are looking forward to the release of Starfield. Microsoft also announced that its annual Xbox Showcase will take place just before the Starfield Direct, which is sure to pique gamers' interest even more.

Bethesda

Bethesda Game Studios, is known for its immersive RPGs (Although their recent releases have been suspect to quite some criticism.) and Starfield is expected to be no different. The game promises to provide players with a unique and comprehensive space exploration experience, and the Starfield Direct will provide more information about what players can expect from the game.

Fans will have to wait a few more months for Starfield to be released, but the announcement of the release date and the upcoming Starfield Direct have already generated a lot of excitement and anticipation.
