XBOX GAME PASS FEBRUARY LINEUP: WHEN MARSUPIALS MEET MADDEN

Ever wondered what would happen if Game Pass decided to throw everything but the kitchen sink at subscribers? Well, Microsoft's about to answer that question with a February lineup that's as packed as a Crash Bandicoot bonus level.

THE GANG'S ALL HERE

According to recent insidergaming information, Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time is spinning its way onto Game Pass, joining an already stacked February that includes Obsidian's highly anticipated Avowed and Far Cry New Dawn. It's like Microsoft looked at their wallet and said, "You know what? Let's make it rain."

But wait, there's more! EA's throwing NFL 25 into the mix via EA Play, because apparently Game Pass didn't have enough content to keep you from touching grass. And in an unexpected twist that nobody asked for but we're getting anyway, Blizzard's Heroes of the Storm is making its way to PC Game Pass, presumably for all three people still playing it.

BLAST FROM THE RECENT PAST

Crash 4, which first dropped in 2020, stands as one of the marsupial's better outings, earning itself some pretty solid reviews. It's the kind of game that'll remind you why you loved the originals while simultaneously making you question your hand-eye coordination and life choices.

THE SPORTS CORNER

NFL 25, fresh from its August 2024 release and middling reviews, is joining the roster because apparently, EA remembered they have a subscription service to feed. It's like the gaming equivalent of your mom telling you to share your toys, except in this case, the toy is a $70 game that's now essentially free.

HEROES NEVER DIE (THEY JUST GO TO GAME PASS)

And then there's Heroes of the Storm, Blizzard's 2015 MOBA that throws all their characters into a blender and hits puree. Despite solid reviews back in the day, it's an interesting addition that feels a bit like showing up to a party eight years late – but hey, at least the snacks are free.

This February lineup is shaping up to be more stacked than a Jenga tower in an earthquake, proving once again that Game Pass is the gift that keeps on giving, even if sometimes that gift is a MOBA you forgot existed.
