Riot Games announces the release date of 3 spinoff games including the mageseeker

Riot Games, the popular game developer, has announced the release of three spinoff games set in the League of Legends universe.

The Mageseeker

The first of these games, The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story, is set to be released this spring for PC and consoles. The game is a 2D action RPG that tells the story of the mage Sylas, set in the kingdom of Demacia, where the use of magic is persecuted by mageseekers. In this game, players will build a magical army to lead a revolution, with Digital Sun behind the development of this game.

More is coming

Along with The Mageseeker, Riot Games revealed the release date for two more games, Convergence and Song of Nunu, which were previously announced in 2021 but had no release window till now.

Both are scheduled for release later this year. Convergence is an action platformer that follows the character Ekko and revolves around manipulating time, and will be released in the summer.

While Song of Nunu is a narrative adventure, set to be released in the fall, that follows the eponymous character and their adventures in the League of Legends universe.

Expanding the world

The League of Legends universe is rich with lore and mythology, and the announcement of these three games has excited fans worldwide. Riot Games has a history of developing games with a deep story and engaging gameplay, and it is hoped that these spinoffs will do justice to the beloved characters and world of League of Legends. With the release of these three spinoffs, Riot Games continues to expand the League of Legends universe and offers new ways for fans to engage with the game.
