Paralives Homework Guide: How to Improve Grades and Finish Assignments

Before you tear your digital house apart searching for a hidden textbook, you need to understand how the school system actually distributes assignments.

Parenting in a life simulator (And real life) is a massive headache. The second you add a kid to your household, you suddenly have to care about their academic future. I completely understand the frustration of watching your favourite character fail their science class simply because you can't figure out where they hid their assignments. Real kids shove their crumpled homework under the mattress, but digital kids in Paralives hide it entirely in the user interface. If you want to build a solid personality for your children, you have to keep their grades up. Here is exactly how you stop them from failing out of school.

Surviving the Daily Grind

The game handles enrollment entirely in the background, so you never have to worry about missing the registration deadline.

Your kids are locked in class Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. If you use the 24-hour clock setting, that displays as 9:00 to 15:00. To track their progress, check the interface. For children, the standard career tab gets completely replaced by a dedicated school tab showing their active subjects and current grades.

If you want them to succeed, you have to manage their mood. Just like adults going to a miserable corporate job, children must be in a good mood to actually perform well at school. Send them to class exhausted or starving, and their performance tanks. Bad performance drops their grades and stops them from earning valuable perks.

The Homework Solution

Finding the actual homework is the most frustrating part of the whole system.

Before you waste an hour searching your property, you should know that the assignment is completely intangible. Don't bother checking your household inventory. You will find absolutely nothing in there. Clicking around on random desks and bookcases hoping for a prompt is just a waste of time.

When your kid actually gets an assignment, a notification pops up on the right side of your screen the second they walk through the front door. You can also verify this by checking the school tab. Active homework displays as a tan bar at the very top of that menu. That tab also tells you exactly how much time your kid has to finish the assignments for each specific subject. Keep a close eye on those timers, because teachers love to stack multiple subjects at once.

Hitting the Books

To actually complete the assignments, you have to drop some cash. You absolutely need a functional computer to do homework.

Buying a whole desktop rig just so Eli can finish his science worksheet is expensive. If you need to grind some Paradimes to afford a PC, check out my Paralives Money Guide: How to Get Rich and Avoid Bankruptcy to fund your kid's education.

Once you buy the PC, select your child and click directly on the monitor. A unique "Homework" option appears at the top of the interaction menu. Just keep in mind that the school has to officially assign the work first. The homework button stays completely hidden until the very first assignment generates.

Academic Requirement System Details
Class Schedule Kids are locked in school Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Required Hardware You must purchase a functional computer using Paradimes. Desks and bookcases don't trigger homework.
UI Tracking Active assignments appear as a tan bar in the school tab, not in your physical inventory.

Make sure you actually click that homework button, or your teenager will probably just use their brand new PC to play Among Us instead.
