leaked EA survey hints at possible Dead Space 2 and 3 remakes

It's a great day to be a Dead Space fan! (Or well, that is if you don't enjoy a full wallet) As  Electronic Arts is rumored to be considering remakes of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3.

This news follows reports that EA has been sending out surveys to select players to gauge their interest in possible remakes of popular sci-fi horror games.

The survey

The survey, which was shared on Twitter by a lucky fan, simply asks if the participant is interested in seeing a remake of Dead Space 2 and/or Dead Space 3. While there has been no official confirmation that EA will proceed with the remakes, the survey results suggest that they are at least considering it.

No suprise

This isn't surprising given the overwhelmingly positive response to the recently released Dead Space remake. On Steam, the remake stands at a 92% positive rating, with many fans praising the updated graphics and improved gameplay mechanics.

Dedicated fans

The Dead Space franchise has a dedicated fanbase, and many have been eagerly anticipating news of a new installment. While a remake of Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 would not be a completely new game, it would allow fans to relive the series with updated graphics and mechanics.

the future

EA has yet to confirm any plans for Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 remakes, but the fact that they are polling fans about their interest is a good sign. We'll keep an eye out for any official announcements from EA regarding the Dead Space franchise's future.
