Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 NPC Guide: Every Character Location and Service

Finding the right NPC can easily mean the difference between securing a Victory Royale and getting sent straight back to the lobby.

Fortnite Runners Chapter 7 Season 3 lands with 11 characters scattered across the Battle Royale map. These characters are loaded with helpful services that can completely turn the tide of a match if you have the gold to spare. As spotted by the folks at Polygon, these characters are tucked away in specific corners of the map. Some offer immediate utility like ammunition top-offs, while others can be hired directly to run alongside you as specialized muscle.

If you want to hunt down the mythic weapons instead of buying standard utility, you can check out my guide on the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 boss locations and loot. Otherwise, keep your gold inventory full and read on to see exactly where these allies are hiding.

Every Character Location and Service

Before you waste three hours wandering aimlessly around the island trying to track down a specific utility, you need to understand how these characters operate. The roster is split between four static specialists and seven standard characters.

For the non-specialist characters, their services can change at random with each match. They will only offer one service per game, but it rotates between maxing out your ammo, gaining 100 health or shields, or spawning a rift. Each of these basic services will cost you 500 gold.

The list below outlines exactly where to find them and what they can do for you.

Vanguard Slone Far east of Heatwave Harbor on the island southwest of Sinister Strip. Rotates between Health/Shields, Max Ammo, or Rift (500 Gold).

Hiring Specialist NPCs

If you want reliable backup instead of gambling on random vending machine attributes, you need to target the specialists. These four specific NPCs are completely consistent. They will never alter their spawn locations or shuffle their roles between matches, meaning you always know exactly what you are purchasing for 350 gold.

Elite Daigo (Medic Specialist)

Hiring Daigo gives you an immediate defensive safety net during chaotic firefights. He acts as a dedicated medic by throwing out Chug Splashes to patch up your health and shields whenever you take damage. You can consistently find him holding down the fort over at Sunken Shores.

Heatwave PJ (Scout Specialist)

Knowing where your enemies are hiding before they see you is massive, and that makes PJ an excellent asset. As a Scout Specialist, he pings both nearby opponents and unopened chests across a wide radius. He stays stationed out at Latte Landing.

Dylan (Supply Specialist)

If you find yourself constantly running dry during build battles or prolonged shootouts, Dylan is your go-to target. He operates as a Supply Specialist, dropping extra ammunition and building materials right at your feet. Head over to the southeast corner of Heatwave Harbor to recruit him.

John Wick (Heavy Specialist)

Hiring John Wick to act as your personal bullet sponge is always a solid investment. As a Heavy Specialist, he can absorb significantly more damage than standard companions and brings explosives to the fight to help clear out enemy structures. He can be found hanging out just northwest of Calamari Canyon.
