DEALER'S LIFE LEGEND: CAPITALISM MEETS FANTASY, BUT WILL IT BE LEGENDARY?
FROM PAWN TO PROFIT
Remember Dealer's Life 1 and 2? Those oddly addictive pawn shop simulators where you could spend hours haggling over questionably obtained items while building your retail empire? Well, if you enjoyed those, you're in for a treat, because Legend is shaping up to be everything we loved about the originals and then some.
FANTASY MEETS FINANCES
Instead of running a single pawn shop, Legend takes us on the road through the Pecunian Empire. Think less "Rick from Pawn Stars" and more "medieval Jeff Bezos with a splash of magic." Having gotten our hands on it early (perks of the job!), we can say this shift from modern-day haggling to fantasy commerce isn't just a cosmetic change; it genuinely transforms the whole feeling of the game.
NEW TRICKS UP THE MERCHANT'S SLEEVE
The expanded formula actually works better than we expected. Companions, faction politics, and magical items aren't just fancy bullet points on a feature list – they add genuine depth to the wheeling and dealing. The "Wandering Merchant Quest" gives the game a proper sense of progression that the series has been crying out for.
LAUNCHING THE CARAVAN
Mark January 15th on your calendars, because this is looking like the kind of game that'll have you saying "just one more trade" until 3 AM. From what we've played, Legend takes everything that made the originals addictive and cranks it up to 11. Stay tuned for our full review, but spoiler alert: your profit margins are looking pretty good on this one.
