Paradox Teases New Life Sim Game "Life By You" Set to Rival The Sims 4
Paradox Tectonic and Rod Humble have been rumored to be working on a Sims 4 competitor, and now it seems those rumors are fully confirmed.
Paradox has teased a new "life sim" game called "Life By You" in a brief, non-revealing preview trailer. The full announcement is set for March 20th.
The preview
While the preview trailer reveals little about the game, it does show the building menu, a beach, grassy hills, and a car driving. It's not much, but it's enough to get fans excited for the full announcement and a taste of the more realistic graphics to come.
Rival
If "Life By You" is to compete with, and possibly even overtake, The Sims 4 as the king of life simulators, it needs to deliver a deep and immersive simulation experience with plenty of customization options and a truly accessible and supported mod community, which is fortunately paradoxically its bread and butter.
The Sims 4 has been a popular game for many years, so Paradox will need to bring something truly unique to the table if they want to compete.
Waiting
Fans of life simulation games are looking forward to the full announcement on March 20th, where we can learn more about "Life By You" and what it has to offer. Will it live up to the hype and give The Sims 4 a run for its money? Only time will tell.
