Diablo 4 Beta Set to Launch Next Month: Pre-Order Early Access on March 17-19, General Public on March 24-26
Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the Diablo 4 beta will be launching next month, with early access starting as early as March 17 for pre-order buyers.
Reveal
The game's director, Joe Shely, revealed this information during an interview at the recent IGN Game Fest, saying that players will be able to play both the prologue and the first act, which take place in the "Fractured Peaks" zone, with all main and sidequests in that area being available and characters being able to level up to 25.
Beta Time
The Diablo 4 beta will be accessible to everyone from March 24 through 26, but pre-order purchasers will get early access to the game from March 17 through 19. This will give them a slight advantage in progression since progress will carry over between the two beta weekends, but the process of the betas won't carry over to the full game release so you won’t see any level 25 characters the moment you spawn in.
All Platforms
This early access period will allow players to test out the highly anticipated action RPG before its official release on June 6. The beta will be available on all platforms, including the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
